Dustin Hunter

Dustin Hunter is the founder of SunRift Capital Partners and has been helping individuals, families, and business owners pursue their financial goals since answering his calling to wealth management in 2007.

Known for his analytical mindset and passion for helping others, Dustin brings a unique combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and personalized guidance to every client relationship. He holds the Series 65 Securities License, Life & Health Insurance Licenses, is an Adjunct Member of the CFA Society Indianapolis, and an Allied Professional with the Financial Planning Association of Greater Indiana.
Prior to entering the financial services industry, Dustin built an impressive academic and professional foundation. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Indiana and earned a Master of Civil Engineering from Purdue University. He also holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from Ball State University.
His engineering background has shaped the way he approaches financial planning—bringing a disciplined, detail-oriented process to retirement planning, investment management, tax strategies, estate planning, and wealth preservation.
A lifelong educator, Dustin previously served as an instructor at Purdue University and co-taught Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University for six years. Today, he continues his passion for education by leading retirement, tax, Social Security, and estate planning workshops throughout Central Indiana, helping individuals make informed decisions about their financial future.
Dustin believes wealth management is about more than investments—it’s about helping people align their resources with their goals, values, and legacy. His mission is to help clients Plan, Build, and Protect the future they have worked so hard to create.
Outside of the office, Dustin enjoys hiking, boating, spending time outdoors, and making memories with his family. He has been married to his high school sweetheart for over 34 years and considers his greatest blessing to be his family, including his three grandchildren.

Jill Hunter
Chief Marketing Officer
Jill joined SunRift Capital Partners in 2017 and has served as the firm’s Chief Marketing Officer and community ambassador since 2020. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships, connecting with families, and helping individuals navigate life’s financial journey with confidence.
As the face of SunRift in the community, Jill leads the firm’s marketing, client engagement, educational events, and outreach initiatives. She is actively involved in numerous organizations throughout Hendricks County and the surrounding communities, including the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce, Mooresville Chamber of Commerce, Danville Chamber of Commerce, Plainfield Kiwanis, Churches in Mission, and Hendricks County Professional Women. She has also served on multiple community boards and leadership teams.
Jill believes that exceptional financial planning begins with strong relationships. She is dedicated to creating meaningful connections with clients and ensuring they feel valued, understood, and cared for throughout every stage of life. Her commitment to service reflects SunRift’s belief that financial planning is about more than money—it’s about helping families pursue their goals, protect what matters most, and build lasting legacies.
Outside of the office, Jill enjoys spending time with her husband, Dustin, their two daughters, and three grandchildren. She loves exploring the Rocky Mountains, hiking, boating, volunteering in the community, and relaxing on the porch with a good book. Her faith, family, and passion for serving others are at the heart of everything she does.
Chris Pearson
Operations Manager
Chris serves as Operations Manager at SunRift Capital Partners, where he works closely with the advisory team to oversee the systems, processes, and operational excellence that help ensure an exceptional client experience. His attention to detail, organizational expertise, and commitment to excellence allow the firm to operate efficiently while maintaining the personalized service clients have come to expect.
One of Chris’s greatest strengths is his ability to build meaningful relationships. He is passionate about helping others, communicating clearly, and ensuring every client feels valued, supported, and well cared for throughout their financial journey.
Prior to joining SunRift Capital Partners, Chris dedicated 30 years to education, where he developed a passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping others achieve their goals. His commitment to education aligns naturally with SunRift’s philosophy of empowering clients through knowledge and thoughtful planning.
In addition to his role at SunRift, Chris has been a licensed real estate professional for several years. His experience provides valuable insight into one of the most significant assets many families own and further enhances his ability to support clients as they navigate important financial decisions.
Outside the office, Chris serves as a coach with the Plainfield High School football program, where many know him as “Coach P.” He is also actively involved in his faith community as a Youth Pastor at Mercy Base Church. Whether coaching, mentoring, serving his church, or supporting clients, Chris is dedicated to helping others reach their full potential.
Chris is a devoted husband, father, and leader who brings integrity, professionalism, and a servant’s heart to everything he does. His unique background in education, leadership, real estate, and operations makes him an invaluable member of the SunRift Capital Partners team.
Madelynne Sliz
Administrative Assistant
At SunRift Capital Partners, exceptional client experiences are built through thoughtful planning, attention to detail, and clear communication. Madelynne plays an important role in bringing those elements together.
Madelynne oversees much of our social media presence, branding, client events, educational workshops, and marketing initiatives. Her unique combination of artistic talent and strategic thinking helps ensure that every interaction with SunRift reflects the professionalism, care, and excellence our clients have come to expect.
Madelynne is also the owner of Madelynne Sliz Fine Art, where she specializes in fine art and heirloom portraiture. Through her work, she has developed a deep appreciation for preserving meaningful stories and creating lasting legacies—values that closely align with our mission of helping families protect and preserve what matters most.
Her creativity, organization, and commitment to excellence help strengthen the SunRift brand and enhance the experience we provide to every client and community member we serve.
Outside of the office, Madelynne enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, exploring local coffee shops, visiting farmers markets, hiking with her family, and supporting her local community.

Kayla Aldredge
Administrative & Compliance Assistant
Kayla serves as the Administrative & Compliance Assistant at SunRift Capital Partners, where she helps support the firm’s commitment to delivering exceptional client service while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, organization, and operational excellence.
A graduate of Ball State University with a degree in Finance, Kayla brings valuable industry experience from her four years with Simplicity Group in Arizona. Her strong financial background, attention to detail, and dedication to accuracy help ensure that the firm’s administrative and compliance processes are executed with precision and care.
In her role, Kayla works behind the scenes to support the systems and procedures that allow SunRift to uphold its fiduciary responsibility to clients. She is passionate about maintaining the integrity of the firm’s operations and helping create a seamless experience for clients and team members alike.
Known for her professionalism, reliability, and servant-hearted approach, Kayla believes that every client deserves to be treated with respect, kindness, and genuine care. Her commitment to excellence and strong ethical values make her an important part of the SunRift team.
